Canners, bakers, etc. 3. Food Truck 4. Crafts or other commodities 5. Starts and or seedlings. 6. Non-Profits. Each different type requires different business and market requirements. - What will be at the markets in May? The focus is on starts for others homes and gardens, although our farmers are working hard to try and bring fresh produce at that time as well.

- When will peaches be here? If there is a crop, Hunter Orchards usually starts harvesting the mid July. We post on facebook when that time arrives, or Contact Hunter Orchards directly. You can find their information on the “Meet your vendors” page.

- Is there music every week? There is music when a musician has been booked. All musicians are playing out of their love for music and our community. We offer them tokens to purchase items from the market. We encourage them to put out a tip basket and hope the community supports them.

- Why are there no tomatoes in June? Our season in Scott Valley is short and we often can not get things into the ground early enough due to cold, frost and other environmental elements early enough to have a crop that early.

- Why can it be so complicated? In the State of California, a farmers market needs to be a “Certified Farmers Market”, which has lots of rules and regulations as well as needing to follow all of the County guidelines.
